We are a group of John Moores University Students doing a research project on the Olympic Legacy. Our topic of debate is whether or not society as a whole appear to be more interested in the Olympics over the Paralympics.

Perhaps asking what value society place on sport may be more relevant?
Given that although the Olympics/Paralympics may be considered to be the pinnacle of an athletes career it may possibly be questionable, especially given the current financial climate, what value is placed on these events by society?
